The idea for Scammerwatch came about in early 2018, when our founder, Michael, was scammed out of a significant amount of money by a fraudulent trading bot. When he tried to get his money back, he quickly realized that there was no easy way to find information on these schemes – or even to figure out if they were legitimate. So he set out to create a comprehensive database of crypto scams, which would help others avoid the same fate.
Michael gathered a team of experienced developers and researchers, and Scammerwatch was born. Since then, we’ve helped thousands of people stay safe in the world of cryptocurrency. And we’re just getting started.

Kong Lu is a blockchain and front-end developer based in Seattle, Washington. Kong has a passion for learning new technologies and sharing that knowledge in an easy-to-understand manner.
Smart contract developer, crypto-investor, and entrepreneur with over 7 years of experience in blockchain development and ICO development from conception to execution.
I'm a full-time blockchain developer and digital marketer with a degree in computer science from the University of Washington. Currently a software engineer at Nash.io, responsible for developing and maintaining the software that powers the Nash platform.
